I am a Pocket Edge and Aria person too I love my Pocket Edge, but it has been difficult getting apps onto it without the Market. Thanks for your info! I downloaded App Monster and now am working to get apps moved over. Some of mine work on my Aria just fine, but not on my Edge…it’s weird, but it’s a work in progress. Best of luck with yours!

Your posts on the iPad are informative. I have been looking for the js script to allow me to jump to Atomic from mobile safari on the iPad. So I was excited when I saw it on your page. However it doesn’t seem to work. I copied the script
javascript:window.location=’atomic://’+location.href.replace(“http://”, “”).replace(“https://”, “”); to a bookmarklet and it didn’t do anything. I’d appreciate any suggestions you might have. Regards,

I like Posterous as my iPad blogging tool: it’ll handle all kinds of rich media or links and you submit as email. It will autopost to other blogging platforms if you prefer WordPress or Blogger or Twitte or dozens of others. PicPosterous is great for photos from the iPhone too.

I downloaded Perfect Browser and it doesn’t work for me. Four times I tried to do tabbed browsing and four times it crashed. I restarted the iPad, I deleted the app and redownloaded it–nothing helped. You’ve got to be suspicious when they keep giving you hints on how to deal with the bugs.

Great tip on the alternative browser. I like the option to go to a mobile device rendition on my iPhone, but for the iPad I usually want the desktop version of the site.
